How long does the spray tan last:
One of our spray tans lasts for about 5-7 days. It is great for vacations and special occasions. It would be best to come in the day before you leave for vacation.
What does the spray tan look like:
It looks natural. The amount of tan you receive depends on your skin chemistry and one spray tan does not build on another. We do have clients that come in once a week for a tan and always look tan. We have never had anyone comment that they thought they looked orange. The solution smells like coconut when it is applied and is safe for pregnant women.
How is the spray tan applied:
Lisa, our Esthetician sprays the solution with a spray gun by hand. The spray by hand method ensures good coverage.
How to get ready for the spray tan:
It is a good practice to gently exfoliate your skin with a wash cloth or a lufa before hand. Do not apply lotion before hand. A tan looks better if your make-up is removed. We do have facial cleanser here, so if you are not able to remove your make-up before arriving, it can be taken off here.
What should be worn during the spray tan:
You can wear what you feel comfortable wearing during the hand spray application. You can wear an old swimsuit if you would like. We do have disposable underwear and bras available. Some people prefer to have an all-over tan and wear nothing.
What should be worn after the spray tan:
After the spray tan, it is a good idea to wear loose clothing such as a t-shirt/sweat shirt and sweat pants.
When to take a shower:
The tan becomes darker in a matter of hours. We recommend that you do not take a shower for at least 6 hours. It is even better if you wait overnight to take a shower.
